There are a few methods to controlling the data that your users consume. Those are Bandwidth Throttling, Content Blocking, and Access Quotas. Any combination of the three can be used to find your balance between user experience and data costs.
- Bandwidth Throttling: Controlling the download and upload speeds at which data can flow.
- Content Blocking: Limiting websites or specific content that typically requires large amounts of data.
- Access Quotas: Using a captive portal to control the time of access or amount of data users are allowed. Access Quotas are part of the group settings.
